- Commuter Svs: Florida Commuter Services; commuter assistance programs; and information
- Amtrak: Passenger rail; Miami station is at 8303 NW 37th Ave
- Greyhound: National, commercial bus transit company; offers connections throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico
- GotoBus: Bus reservation system; buses connecting many cities including Miami
- TPO: Miami-Dade Transporation Planning Organization; plan transportation facilities and services; transportation studies
- FDOT: Florida Department of Transportation
- GO: Miami Dade Transportation information; shows links relevant to travel by air, land, sea, and accessible services
- Car Free: Possible in Miami; with some walkability and some transit systems, you could easily live without a car in Miami
- Car Sharing: Avoid owning a car; be car-free as much as possible, but keep the idea that you can rent or borrow a car only when you need it--for a big project or trip to far-out areas, for example
