- Goddard ISS: Goddard Institute for Space Studies; at Columbia University; studies Global Change, an interdisciplinary look at natural and man-made changes in the environment that affect the habitability of Earth; a division of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Goddard Space Flight Center Earth Sciences Directorate and a unit of the Columbia Earth Institute; upstairs of Tom's Restaurant, exterior shots of which were used in the NBC-TV program Seinfeld
- NARA: National Archives and Records Administration Facilities New York; maintains archival records from Federal agencies and courts in New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, and the U.S.Virgin Islands
