Las Vegas offers a variety of transit options
- Airports: Clark County Airport System; includes McCarran International Airport (LAS) as well as North Las Vegas Airport (VGT), Henderson Executive Airport (HND), Jean Sport Aviation Center, Overton/Perkins Field (U08), and Searchlight (1L3)
- RTC: Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada; regional government agency; Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Las Vegas Urban Area; operates public mass transit system, Citizens Area Transit (CAT)
- Monorail: Las Vegas Monorail; 6.4 km-long electric monorail; privately funded and operated, using no tax dollars for its construction or operations; links more than 25,000 hotel rooms and about 40 hectares of meeting and convention space; top speed 80 kph; stations at MGM Grand, Bally's, Flamingo/Caesars Palace, Harrah's/Imperial Palace, Convention Center, Hilton, and Sahara
- Greyhound: National, commercial bus transit company; station is at Plaza Hotel, Main Street; offers connections throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico
- GotoBus: Bus reservation system; buses connecting many cities including Las Vegas
- Off2Vegas: Transport section; describes the variety of transit options in Las Vegas including limos, taxis, shuttles, buses, monorail, trolley, and free shuttles

- Car Free: Possible in Las Vegas; with some walkability and some transit systems, you could easily live without a car in Las Vegas
- Car Sharing: Avoid owning a car; be car-free as much as possible, but keep the idea that you can rent or borrow a car only when you need it--for a big project or trip to far-out areas, for example
