TIP: You can live without a dresser, armoire, freestanding closet, or wardrobe.

I have never owned a dresser. I use plastic crates for storing my clothing. I place these plastic crates on the floor and shelves of my closet. Similarly, I do not own a kitchen table, shelving, or an entertainment unit. I have a minimal amount of "structure" items in my home.
